As a lifelong entrepreneur McKinzie has successfully run many businesses including, freelancing, real estate, direct sales, digital product sales, blogging, consulting and more.

McKinzie has always had a passion for learning. She received a full-tuition academic scholarship and received a bachelor’s in Behavioral Science. Her true love however, was personal finance so she went on to complete a second bachelor’s degree in Financial Planning from the University of Utah in 2015.

As an expert in the personal finance space McKinzie is frequently quoted in major publications such as, Yahoo Finance, Forbes, MSN, Money.com, The U.S. Chamber of Commerce, Small Business & Entrepreneurship Council, Mic.com, Business News Daily, Go Banking Rates, Creditcards.com, Chime Bank, Freshbooks.com, Authority Hacker, The Work At Home Woman, The Penny Hoarder, and many more.
